Imprints is a participatory performance built as part of the first artistic residency, "Shelter of Art" at Les Halles Saint Géry Brussels.

Mathieu Zurstrassen offers to work on the elusive. He sets up a device that questions our intimate disclosure of an artwork. This takes the form of a Fortune Cookie that will be "charged" throughout the residence, with stories told by visitors. The artist has been working for many years with this little biscuit using it as a catalyst for exchanges and discussions. Here he puts a different paradigm in place. At the borderline between performance, event and installation, he allows the receiver / spectator time to meet himself in an "isolation device" and participate in the creation protocol. From now on the creation feeds on the invisible of others, impalpable links but necessary to the dialogues of the humans.
