Flatuosités* is a kinetic art installation.
A series of reduced gears, end up driving slowly two aluminum cylinders pinching bubble wrap, precious little farts emerge
« Flatuosités » is a french (precious) term referring to Gas accumulation in the stomach and in the intestine.
Mechanism :
A motor turns the first gear at 10rpm, 14 reducing gears are connected to drive chains, driving two cylinders who are therefore turning at 0.003rpm. Cylinders are pinching Bubble wrap, making few gas* explosions each hour.
